IT System Administrator

Job Purpose:Responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, security, and performance of systems while supporting business continuity and IT strategic goals. The System Administrator will also collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to implement changes, resolve issues, and deliver projects effectively.Job Duties & Responsibilities:·       Implement, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Hyper-V, VMware).·       Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive environments.·       Oversee Change Management processes and ensure compliance with ITIL best practices.·       Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.·       Apply and enforce security policies across all IT systems.·       Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, including advanced experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.·       Support cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and assist in migration projects.·       Administer IIS and SQL Server for web and database services.·       Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for procurement, implementation, and support·       Participate in project planning and execution, demonstrating understanding of project management principles.·       Maintain documentation for technical processes and configurations.Job Requirements:·       Bachelor’s degree in related field.·       3 - 5 years of experience in system administration and IT infrastructure.·       Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365.·       Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).·       Strong knowledge of backup solutions, especially Veeam.·       Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).·       Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.·       Strong communication and vendor management skills.·       Knowledge of ITIL processes and basic project management principles.·       Knowledge of monitoring systems.
