Java Software Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance systems supporting mission-critical trading and risk platforms. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where technology, precision, and collaboration are key to success.You will partner with traders, quants, and cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving complex challenges in real-time trading environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust, efficient, and scalable backend systems for front-office trading and control platforms.Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure accurate and compliant data flow.Enhance performance, stability, and reliability of existing systems.Troubleshoot critical production issues and implement long-term fixes.Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous system improvements.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong commercial Java experience (core and enterprise-level).Solid understanding of Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.Working knowledge of Python or C++ is advantageous.Familiarity with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles or CI/CD pipelines.Hands-on experience with Git and modern version control practices.Experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed system design.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
