Job Description

JMU Ltd is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Insurance Clerk to provide strong administrative and operational support across our general and life insurance activities. In this role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of duties to ensure the smooth running of insurance processes and client servicing. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monitoring of both Individual and Corporate General Insurance business• Maintain control lists for individual and general insurance, always up to date• Prepare and send Instruction Forms to Head Office across all classes of business and follow up until completion• Support the preparation of quotations and assist Insurance Officers in negotiating deals with Head Office• Attend to and follow up on internal and external queries• Ensure clients' records and data are updated daily• Maintain up-to-date KYC documentation in client files and ensure proper filing on Eazzy• Assist in expanding the company’s activities, including client prospecting and administrative support• Provide administrative support to Salespersons and Insurance Officers, including detailed follow-ups• Ensure smooth communication with Swan Group• Act as a strong back-up to Insurance Officers for all key tasks and documentation• Provide support to Insurance Officers for Life Assurance and long-term insurance products by:

o Following up on quotationso Preparing and updating client fileso Coordinating between Swan and clients to ensure timely service• Carry out any other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the teamPlease note: This role evolves with the needs of the business.
