Journalism internship

Le Parisien Matin is an independent digital magazine committed to community-oriented and factual journalism. We value curiosity, integrity, and the ability to look at the world with both empathy and critical distance.We are offering a one-month remote internship for students or recent graduates who are passionate about writing and journalism. This experience is designed for those who want to understand how a newsroom works, sharpen their writing skills, and publish real articles under their name in a professional setting.Interns will receive regular feedback and editorial guidance from an experienced editor. Please note that supervision is not constant, as our editor oversees several areas of the publication. You’ll therefore need to be comfortable working independently, managing your time, and taking initiative.During the internship, you’ll take part in the magazine’s editorial life. This includes researching stories, conducting interviews, writing and revising articles, and pitching new ideas.Flexibility is part of the experience, but we do expect a certain level of consistency: at least two articles per week.We’re especially interested in hearing from candidates who are drawn to African, Economic, Middle Eastern, or Technology topics, although our magazine also includes sections on Lifestyle, European Affairs, and Politics.Applicants should have strong writing skills in English (French is not mandatory) and an ability to produce clear, structured, and original work. All submissions must be entirely your own.
