What You’ll DoReview and prioritise daily company news releasesWrite, fact-check, and publish articles covering these releasesBe involved in creating quality, accurate content for various platforms that keep our audience informed and interestedWrite, fact check, and publish topic-specific feature articles for Mining.com.au partners Research and write content across our multimedia platformsCrafting attention-grabbing social media posts accompanying news articlesProofread copy including social media posts, marketing materials, advertisements, among other internal/external documentsQualifications & SkillsBachelor degree in journalism, communication, or related field1-2 years of experience working in journalism/reporting in the business and/or mining space preferred but not requiredCapable of writing in an ethical and objective mannerEnthusiastic, empathetic, and eager to learn on the jobPassion for chasing leads and storytellingAttention to detail and demonstrated ability to accurately fact-check and research data/informationAbility to meet deadlines within a vibrant, fast-paced, and ever-changing newsroom environment Wordpress experience preferred but not requiredAble to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and networking skillsWhat We OfferOpportunities for growthExceptional working environment
