DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering / marine electrical engineering or related Field. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering within the marine or offshore industry(shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore platforms, or marine systems integration). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and E-Tap for electrical design tools. Strong understanding of marine electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, automation,navigation, and control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Experience working on EPC projects and liaising with clients and third-party verification bodies is a plus.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform electrical system design and calculations for marine vessels and Offshore platforms (Power System,lighting, controls, navigation and communication systems). Knowledge of Class Rules & Regulations (DNV, ABS, IRS, LR, NK, etc…) and Flag requirements Develop main Power system single-line diagrams, load calculations, and load analysis. Utilize software tools such as Etap, Eplan, etc. Prepare design reports, technical documentation, and specifications for offshore projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including naval architects, Structural, piping, Hvac, and projectmanagers, to ensure integrated solutions Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and inspection phases. Ensure designs adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in technical reviews and risk assessments. Ensure electrical systems comply with IMO, SOLAS, IEC, and class society standards. Liaise with shipyard teams, contractors, suppliers, and design consultants. Assist in procurement by providing technical specifications and reviewing vendor drawings. Ensure safe working practices during electrical works on vessels or offshore installations. Participate in safety drills and comply with HSE protocols and risk assessments.Desired Skills:- Ability to identify and solve complex electrical issues under pressure Coordinate with design, mechanical, HSE, and shipyard teams Support electrical work planning, scheduling, and resource management. Prepare test reports, maintenance logs, and schedulesClear interaction with vendors, inspectors, and cross-functional teams
