Jr. Laboratory Technician

Position: Laboratory TechnicianIndustry: Oil & Gas / UtilitiesEmployment Type: 36 Months ContractExperience Level: 1-3 YearsLocation: Sungai Udang, Melaka. Key Responsibilities:Collect samples from the plant and transport them safely to the laboratory.Ensure the cleanliness and integrity of sample containers before returning them to the plant.Clean sample bottles.Respond to customer requests for sample collection in a timely manner.Participate in all laboratory activities, including handling and segregating laboratory wastes, housekeeping, inspection audits, and other tasks as required by laboratory management. Comply with HSSE requirements to maintain a safe and conducive workplace.Support and implement the Laboratory Management System according to ISO 17025 standards and ensure compliance with the Malaysian Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (SAMM).Check and maintain inventories of chemicals, spare parts, consumables, and records to ensure the availability of resources.Perform other tasks as specified by the company.RequirementsAt least 1 year of working experience in Oil & Gas (O&G), office management, warehouse management, or scheduled waste management.Familiarity with laboratory operations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is an advantage.Have a valid driving license (D).Basic computer knowledge.Working HourShift pattern: 2 days Day Shift, 2 days Night Shift, 4 days offDay Shift: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PMNight Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AMIncludes weekends and public holidays
