Jr. Operations Manager

 Business Plane Logistics, an international company specializing in time-critical shipments worldwide, is looking for a motivated individual ready to put their problem-solving skills to work.Report to the Senior Operation Manager the candidate will oversee:·       Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering cost, transit time, and security.·       Established a good relationship with clients and suppliers.·       Creating quotes and negotiating with the customer to provide the best solution for their needs.·       Negotiating contracts, transportation, and handling costs.·       Obtaining, checking, and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes.·       Arranging air transport for urgent and high-value freight and managing the risk door-to-door.·       Acting as a broker in customs negotiations worldwide to guide the freight efficiently through complex procedures.·       Dealing with special arrangements for transporting delicate cargoes, such as livestock and medical supplies.·       Arranging couriers and specialists for the hand-carry services.·       Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit-cost analysis·       Managing and keeping the customer updated for each step of the shipment.·       Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations, and other factors that could affect the movement of freight. Specific Education & Experience Requirements:·       English level (C1) at least.·       Good working knowledge of computer systems/applications; Microsoft Office.·       High attention to detail and following standard procedure.·       Ability to plan, prioritize and complete assignments within deadlines.·       Previous experience in logistics is a plus.·       Initial Training will be providedSalary includes base + KPI's.If you are ready to begin your career in logistics, send your CV to hiring@bpg.aero
