Jr. Production Research Associate

Key Tasks & Responsibilities Supporting search areas for experimentation, planning of agricultural experiments, coordinating grower contracts and grower management, and selecting and training seasonal workers. Managing trial allocation and creation of planting maps, nutritional management, and control of weeds, pests, and diseases on trials. Conducting data collection and evaluations according to protocol, ensuring data QA/QC. Organizing logistics around field trials, managing the proper utilization of research equipment (lab and field), and using mobile devices for accurate data recording and note-taking. Finalizing field trials according to the planned schedule. Actively seeking information and collaborating with experienced professionals and stakeholders to develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for reliable corn hybrid seed production, as well as continuous personal development. Following internal procedures and supporting compliance with legal, safety, and HSE requirements, actively following the company’s policies and objectives on quality, safety, health, and environment. Performing other tasks as assigned.Qualifications & Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field 0–2 years of experience as a Research Technician with demonstrated success as a strong performer Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the production process Intermediate agricultural knowledge, research methods, presentation skills, and digital/technical knowledge background Fair English communication skills Strong networking and relationship-building skills with team members and cross-functional partners Able to travel and willing to relocate to another region in Thailand Valid driver’s license and good driving recordIMPORTANT NOTE for POTENTIAL US CANDIDATES: Bayer expects its employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
