Junior Sales Specialist (B2B SaaS, DACH) — ZurichLocation: Zurich, Switzerland (hybrid)Team: Go-To-Market (Sales, SDR, Solutions)Reports to: Sales Manager / Account ExecutiveWhy this role exists:Support the sales team in driving pipeline growth, qualifying opportunities, and helping close deals with mid-market and enterprise customers across the DACH region.Outcomes (first 12 months)Contribute to new ARR growth by consistently generating and qualifying high-quality leads.Build a reliable pipeline of 40–60 qualified opportunities through outbound and inbound activities.Support Account Executives in deal progression and help improve win rates and shorten sales cycles.Become proficient in the company’s product, ICP, messaging, and basic MEDDICC qualification.Maintain strong CRM hygiene and accurate activity tracking.What you’ll doRun prospecting campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) to generate meetings with target accounts.Qualify inbound and outbound leads using clear criteria (ICP fit, need, timeline, budget signals).Conduct discovery calls, understand customer pain points, and prepare detailed notes for AEs.Support Account Executives with proposal creation, pricing drafts, demos, and follow-ups.Maintain and update CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), ensuring accurate pipeline data.Collaborate with Marketing on messaging feedback, lead quality insights, and event support.Assist in preparing case studies, product decks, and customer reference materials.Help coordinate POCs, scheduling, documentation, and success criteria tracking.Work closely with Solutions/SE teams to ensure smooth handover and customer experience.Must-have experience1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or SDR/business development roles (preferably SaaS).Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and business stakeholders.Comfortable with outbound prospecting and running structured discovery conversations.Working knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).Fluent in German and English.Motivated to learn MEDDICC, value selling, and enterprise buying processes.Nice to haveExperience with AI/ML, data, or cloud software.Familiarity with the DACH tech ecosystem and regulated industries.Exposure to cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or partner-led sales motions.Interest in developing toward an Account Executive or Enterprise Sales career path.
