With Paytend, customers can easily open accounts online, make seamless payments both online and in-store, and effortlessly track their funds via the user-friendly Paytend app. Leveraging our robust technical framework, Paytend also offers enhanced and more efficient financial collection and payment services specifically tailored for commercial clients and individual customers involved in international trade.🗂️ Junior AML AnalystAs a Junior AML Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our financial crime prevention efforts, contributing across both Customer Due Diligence and Transaction Monitoring functions. You will be instrumental in safeguarding the company by ensuring compliance with all relevant AML/CTF regulations and internal policies.🔍 Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Due Diligence (CDD/EDD/KYC/KYB)Perform risk assessments on new personal and corporate account applications.Request, follow up, collect, and analyse necessary KYC/KYB documentation and supporting information from clients.Conduct ongoing monitoring and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews, analysing Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) documents.Cross-reference and confirm customer documentation using both internal and external sources.Monitor existing clients, including periodic reviews of due diligence profiles, risk assessments, identification documents, and daily screening.Review PEP/Sanctions potential matches and accounts for adverse media and other publicly available information.Store all KYC documentation in relevant systems, ensuring proper filing and archiving.Transaction Monitoring (TM)Review alerts generated by the TM system and conduct initial investigations into customer behavior and transaction patterns.Monitor transactions, including counterparty due diligence and screening.Identify irregular or unusual activity/accounts and draft corresponding transaction monitoring reports.Monitor the activity of customers to detect and report any suspicious activity (SAR/STR submissions).✅ What We're Looking ForExperienceProven experience in AML/CFT or the Finance sector is an advantage.Skills & KnowledgeKnowledge of AML/CFT compliance requirements, banking regulations, and compliance guidelines is a plus.Proven ability to analyse, evaluate, and mitigate financial crime risks is a plus.Meticulous, analytical, and possesses a keen attention to detail.AttitudeA high level of integrity, confidentiality, ownership, and a willingness to learn.A true interest in the prevention of financial crime.💰 Compensation & BenefitsWe offer a compensation package of 1200 gross - 1900 gross + lunch compensation.Company team building activities.Opportunities to Learn and Grow.📧 How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to send their CV to justas@paytend.com.
