About us: EuroCTP is a Dutch company which aims to facilitate access to EU real time market data for equities and ETFs. To do so, we are building a reliable, compliant real time consolidation of EU market data, attached with related services designed for and with the market community. We are participating in the selection process for the provision of a consolidated tape (CT) for equities and ETFs in the European Union run by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). EuroCTP was incorporated on August 23rd, 2023, in the Netherlands.Its shareholders are 16 European exchanges and exchange groups, operating regulated markets in 27 EU countries.As a recently established startup, we are driven by a passion for growth, creativity, and problem-solving. If you’re seeking a hands-on opportunity to learn, contribute, and develop your finance career, we want to hear from you!   About the role: We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team as of February 2026. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to pivot to an industry role. You will handle the day-to-day accounting operations and play a key part in ensuring our financial processes are robust, compliant, and audit-ready.  Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations, including: Accounts payable (processing of invoices, paying suppliers, managing communication with key stakeholders). Accounts receivable (payment reconciliation, debt collection, and manual invoicing) Booking journal entries and maintaining the general ledger. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare documentation and schedules for audit cycles, and anticipate and address auditor queries. Identify and highlight financial risks and control gaps before they are raised by auditors. Assist the Financial Controller in identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting operations, ensuring our systems and workflows are continuously optimized for efficiency and accuracy. Provide ad-hoc support for special financial projects and initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.   What you will learn: A comprehensive understanding of end-to-end accounting operations in a fast-growing, international business environment. Direct application of Dutch GAAP and IFRS standards in daily accounting and financial reporting. Hands-on experience with accounting software and automation tools to streamline processes, reporting, and reconciliations. Practical exposure to compliance, audit cycles, and risk management within a regulated financial services context. The opportunity to take ownership of process improvements and automation initiatives, shaping the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function. Collaboration with senior finance leadership, gaining insight into strategic financial decision-making and the potential to grow into a controlling or broader finance role.  What we are looking for: 1 to 2 years of experience as an auditor, accountant, or similar finance role (including traineeships and apprenticeships). Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial management software or ERP systems. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and present financial data clearly. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on driving financial efficiency and performance.   What We Offer A collaborative, dynamic work environment where your contributions matter. Hands-on exposure to all aspects of accounting operations in a fast-growing company. Fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension to a permanent position. We’re committed to diversity and inclusion, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.   How to apply If this opportunity excites you and you are ready to embark on a rewarding journey with us, please send your CV to jean.sunil@euroctp.eu  A cover letter explaining why you are a great fit for the role is a plus, but not mandatory.
