We’re looking for a Junior Financial Controller who is ready to kick-start their career in a dynamic hotel environment. Do you enjoy working with numbers, love bringing structure to processes, and want to learn how finance works within a growing hospitality group? Then we’d love to meet you.In this role, you’ll gradually learn the financial administration of a cluster of hotels. You’ll work closely with other cluster controllers and collaborate with colleagues across the organization. No need to have years of experience — we’re mainly looking for someone curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into more responsibility.You’ll become part of an open and informal team where professionalism goes hand in hand with personality. We’ll help you grow step by step towards more independent responsibility. And yes — if you enjoy good food and great company, you’ll fit right in. Our monthly finance lunches with homemade dishes are a tradition. 😉What You Will Be Trained To DoBe responsible for the financial administration of a cluster of hotels in our portfolio;Process the month end checks, mutations and performing P&L checks and reconciliation;Performing balance sheet checks, reconciliations and administration;Process all relevant taxes such as VAT, City tax, payroll tax and local taxes;Process year end mutations and file preparations for our auditors;Manage the debtors and creditors administration;Work with various systems, including: Visma, Spend cloud, NMBRS, MEWS, Lightspeed / Untill.About you!You have a passion for the hotel industry and finance of course;You are interested in a position as a Controller and would like to learn more about it;HBO degree in finance or related;Preferably experience in hospitality;You speak and write at least good Dutch and English - Since most of the documents we receive are in Dutch, it’s important that you’re able to read Dutch. If you prefer speaking English instead of Dutch, that’s totally fine;Preferably you live in or near Amsterdam.Join the Fun & Perks:We offer a suitable salary according to the collective labour agreement for hospitality in reference scale 5;Travel allowance based on the distance between home and work (min. 15 km);
