This entry-level role is ideal for an individual seeking to start or advance their career in accounting within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring compliance, while growing your professional skills alongside expert colleagues.Main Responsibilities – Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting & Process ImprovementRecord and document financial transactions: Maintain accurate ledgers, post journal entries, and update financial databases.Manage accounts payable and receivable: Process invoices, issue receipts, and ensure timely payment of bills.Perform reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements with financial records and identify and correct any discrepancies.Assist with financial reporting: Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements.Support month-end and year-end close: Assist senior accountants with closing the books and preparing for audits.Process payroll: Assist with calculating and processing payroll and verifying employee timesheets.Handle other accounting tasks: Support with other projects, such as budget preparation, fixed asset audits, and tax-related tasks.
