Job Description

Project Scope: 1 The Network Engineer will be tasked with executing monthly server operating system patch/update management. 2 Review, analyze and expedite update deployments based on update severity information provided by Stakeholder. 3 Execute technical tasks required to complete monthly updates by date specific goals. 4 Remediate failed updates by researching failure codes and log data and identifying solutions to resolve. 5 Author technical documentation to support the patch management process as needed. 6 Collaborate with Infrastructure team to maintain system uptime, security compliance, and system performance post-deployment.REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Windows OS Update Administration, Linux OS Update Administration, Application installation Troubleshooting, Problem Solving. Experience with update tools such as Automox and PowerShell scripting preferred.
