Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.Job OverviewThe position of Junior Procurement Specialist for New Country Entries in EMEA is responsible for the creation of procurement strategies for the expansion of Restaurant Brands International Brands in EMEA, while its purpose is to be the key pillar in developing and executing cost effective sourcing strategies. The role is defined as a project manager, leading the market entry of the respective brand into a new market from a procurement standpoint. This role will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance, Global Procurement, Legal and Innovation to support the Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeye’s and Firehouse Brand.The role is based out of Zug and requires 5 days per week office presence. Travel within the EMEA region might be required.Your Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage and own beginning-to-end procurement new country entry (NCE) projects across Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs in EMEA.Define, create, and implement EMEA sourcing strategies for assigned markets and brands in close cooperation with the business team, franchisees and other relevant stakeholders.Ensure full alignment of Procurement strategies and execution plans with the Business Leaders (Mkt/Ops/SQA/GMs) and Master FranchiseesOwn and Build selected Supplier Relationships to consistently improve Supplier Performance and availability.Ensuring compliance with corporate sustainability commitments.Facilitating innovation projects and new product rollouts in collaboration with cross functional teams.Providing in-depth analytical support for NCE procurement projects.Your Skills & ExperienceAt least 2 years previous experience, preferred background in project management.At least Bachelor degree, preferably from business or finance area.Exceptional business and financial acumen; comprehensive knowledge of overall business and its position in the overall marketplace.Demonstrated ability to drive results through the management of projects, processes.Advanced problem solving skills and analytical capabilities in complex situations.Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to direct and influence others at all levels.Excellent Microsoft Office skills.Eligibility to work in Switzerland without work permit sponsorship.Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness.
