Looking no further, MacGregor is looking to hire a Junior Purchaser to join our team.The purpose of this role is to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective purchasing in line with company policy, while supporting sales, and providing delivery reports.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating activities related to commodity purchases, such as pending inquiries and order confirmations, and preparing purchase order documents. In addition, you will confirm order realization and delivery dates.More Tasks And ResponsibilitiesProactively alert Order Handlers to price/project date incompatibilitiesFollow up on placed orders, adjusting activities to ensure timely deliveryMonitor demand and follow up with suppliersEnsure goods delivery in accordance with agreed Incoterms/Terms & ConditionsPrepare all purchase documentation for accurate and timely invoicingReporting directly to the Purchasing Team Leader. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Gdansk, Poland or Piraeus, Greece.What You’ll Need To SucceedTechnical knowledge and product understanding are essential in this position. We are looking for a person who possesses good communication and analytical skills. Experience in SAP and G-Suite will be an asset. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to handle complex situations, resolve problems effectively, and meet tight deadlines.Ideally you have0,5 - 1 year of experience on similar positionUniversity degree is preferredFluent in English language - both verbal and written Why MacGregor?Our people are behind every success.
