Our client, a leader in the Defence and Technology industry, is seeking a Junior Recruiter to join their team in Dartmouth, NS or Ottawa, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, high-volume recruitment environment and play a key role in supporting hiring initiatives across Canada. 12-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent.Benefits & Perks$22–$25/hour compensation12-month contract with potential for extensionPlease note, twice a week at the Dartmouth, NS Office or Ottawa, ON. Option to work a fortnight scheduleResponsibilitiesSupport full-cycle recruitment for a variety of high-volume roles across CanadaBuild strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to align recruitment efforts with business needsSource candidates through job boards, social media, and proactive outreachScreen and coordinate candidates through all stages of the recruitment processMaintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Support university relations, early careers, and other recruitment initiatives as neededCollaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team across CanadaQualifications1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or agency recruitmentStrong communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsBilingual (English & French) considered an assetHighly adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environmentAbility to obtain Reliability Clearance (must have 5 years of residency in Canada)At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
