Job DescriptionDivision: Group Business Solutions (GBS)Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Release Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of release activities, primarily focused on EB mainframe-related launches. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, planning, and monitoring to ensure smooth and timely deployments across Release Acceptance Testing, pre-production, and production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesScope Monitoring & Risk AssessmentEnsure all items within scope are properly registered in the release plan.Evaluate the impact of scope changes (e.g., late additions/removals) on timelines and planning.Provide decisions based on risk assessments to maintain release stability.Mainframe Launch Scenario & Change ManagementConsolidate inputs from various teams to build and maintain the mainframe launch scenario.Deliver the consolidated scope through to production.Non-Regression Testing OversightMonitor and follow up on non-regression testing for mainframe components.Ensure timely execution and issue resolution in collaboration with test environment managers, testers, and developers.Pre-production & Production Launch ExecutionExecute mainframe launches in pre-production and production environments.Ensure all prerequisites are met (timeline, staffing, dependencies).Weekend availability required (1 per month, alternating with team members).Flexibility & Change ManagementAdapt to changing priorities and manage last-minute adjustments to release plans.Minimize disruption to timelines and quality.Release Manager Back-UpAssist the Release Manager with coordination activities involving Epic Delivery owners and business stakeholders.Continuous improvementIdentify inefficiencies and propose enhancements to release processes.Participate in post-release reviews.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate release documentation.Report on release activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.3+ years of experience in IT release coordination, software deployment, or mainframe operations.Solid understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.Experience in coordinating or executing release activities is a plus.Familiarity with mainframe tools (e.g., Changeman, DB2).Basic knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools is a plus.Preferred SkillsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage unexpected changes calmly.Meticulous and detail-oriented approach.Curious and improvement-driven mindset.Collaborative spirit in cross-functional environments.Proficiency in ServiceNow, Excel, Azure DevOps (TFS).Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Willingness to learn and grow within the release management domain.About UsWhy join usEmbark on your new adventure at Euroclear, and work at the heart of the global capital markets.
