Join our collaborative Accounts Receivable (AR) team as a Junior Specialist, Accounts Receivable - Cash Apply!We are looking for analytical and well-organized individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, ready to ensure precise and timely cash application while supporting smooth financial operations within a global environment.You will support and maintain the MacGregor Accounts Receivable (AR) process, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and performance measures through effective integration with related process areas.More Tasks And ResponsibilitiesProcess and post cash receipts; apply all payments to the accounts receivable sub ledger;Make necessary adjustments in the accounting system.Manage and resolve remittance mismatch or cash application issuesOn an ongoing basis and in a timely manner, accurately applies received cash to the customer’s account using appropriate accounting and business management softwareProcess payment return items and insufficient fundsPerform daily reconciliations between received payments and system records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of posted transactions.This role, a hybrid position based in Sofia, Bulgaria, reports to Service Delivery Lead, Order to Cash.What You’ll Need To SucceedYou will need a process-oriented mindset and logical thinking to quickly and accurately handle complex AR transactions and issues. Effective time management and the ability to prioritize are essential for meeting daily deadlines and month-end closing requirements.Ideally you haveUniversity degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics0-2 years of experience in a relevant finance role in an international environmentProficient in MS Office or Google WorkspaceKnowledge of ERP systems, preferable SAP is an advantageProficient in both written and spoken English.
