Job Description

The Role:BnM is recruiting a JV accountant. The JV accountant will own the end-to-end financial reporting process for assigned Joint Venture (JV) entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with shareholder requirements and agreed SLAs. Deliver robust management and statutory reporting, maintain strong internal controls and provide financial insights to support strategic decisions. Act as the primary finance contact for your JV entity, building effective relationships and contributing to the successful delivery of JV objectives.The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:Own the monthly reporting cycle for assigned JV entities, including preparation of management accounts, project cost reports and variance analysis. Ensure all reports are delivered accurately and on time to shareholders and boards.Ensure compliance with SLAs and internal controls, maintaining high standards of financial integrity across banking, procurement and approval processes.Prepare statutory reporting schedules and audit documentation, liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for your JV entity, working closely with project teams to ensure alignment with timelines and financial targets.Act as the primary finance contact for your JV entity, managing information flow between JV partners, internal teams and enabling services. Build strong relationships through clear communication and responsiveness. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by project teams and JV stakeholders.Monitor and maintain internal control systems in line with company policy, reporting any issues or improvements to the JV Finance Partner and Governance Manager.All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises.Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.What we're looking for:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes:Applicants must be qualified accountants (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).Proven experience in GL activities and month-end tasks, process driven with focus on efficiency and standardisation. Excellent communications skills are essential.Proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, Power Query & Oracle.
