Kennedy Fox are working with a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to clients and delivering throughout Europe. Our client specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 8 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight. They are currently looking for an Electrical Package Manager to be on their Helsinki, Finland site from concept through to commissioning.
You will be working on a 5 - 1 rotation. Additional to your salary, they offer sole occupancy accommodation and flights along with subsistence of €250EUR net per week, so you can live anywhere in Europe for this role, proving the rotation works for you. This is a permenant role, and you will be working on different Data Centre projects across Europe. Responsibilities: Management of the Electrical Systems package. Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Engineering & Contracting Safety Advisor.
This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the safety file as part of the Management team. Drive a focused Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture within your team. Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Project manager, consulting Engineer and Client requirements Management of all costs associated with your package including: â–Ş Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Electrical Team â–Ş Sub-contractors â–Ş Material deliveries and goods receipting. â–Ş Plant and Equipment â–Ş Variations Management of all day-to-day site operations Ensure policies and procedures are followed closely. Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
Management of the Engineering & Contracting "In Progress" snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable. Ensure all snags are distributed to all Sub-contractors. Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally. Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings. Issue weekly cost reports. This will include all orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels. Issue internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. Requirements:
Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. Masters or Bachelor’s degree in engineering Previous experience in Project ManagementProven record of coordinating and managing large installation projects Experience dealing with Industrial Relations issues Knowledge of Health & Safety Experienced in design and build Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systemsIf this sounds of interet then please apply now!
