Kennedy Fox are working with a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to clients and delivering throughout Europe. Our client specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 8 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Packaging Manager to be on their Helsinki, Finland site from concept through to commissioning.
You will be working on a 5 - 1 rotation. Additional to your salary, they offer sole occupancy accommodation and flights along with subsistence of €250EUR net per week, so you can live anywhere in Europe for this role, proving the rotation works for you. This is a permenant role, and you will be working on different Data Centre projects across Europe. Responsibilities: Review Package and Raise RFIs - Assess the scope of the package and generate high-level Requests for Information (RFIs). Develop Package Overview - Create a summary or overview of the package.
Develop and Issue Tender Pack - Create the tender package and send it to the commercial team for pricing. Answer RFIs - Respond to any Requests for Information (RFIs) from potential subcontractors. Develop Programme with Subcontractor - Create a schedule with subcontractors to meet project deadlines. Design Development - Develop and finalize the design, including technical submittals, RFIs, calculations, layouts, interface management, and BIM coordination. Weekly Progress Report - Compile weekly reports showing progress and highlight risks. Manage the project schedule and costs with the Project Manager and Commercial team.
Help the commissioning team with the handover of information related to your package. Final Account - Close out the final financial account of the project. O & M Manuals and Training - Complete and hand over operation and maintenance manuals, and provide any necessary training.
