We are seeking a passionate and proactive country marketing executive to support Rakuten Travel’s local market strategy, leading the execution of local campaigns, and driving initiative to build an influential and quality online travel brand in Korea. ===============================================================▼About the Role:You will work on integrated marketing efforts by understanding the marketing strategy and marketing mix, executing locally relevant campaigns, building and nurturing our social media presence, coordinating media and events as you help shape the voice of our brand and grow a loyal customer base.This position will be based in our Seoul, South Korea office.▼Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Develop content and social strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement for Rakuten Travel in the social and digital community space. • Oversee page management with clear content strategy and data analysis on Facebook, Instagram, Naver, Kakao to drive awareness and fan engagement. • Own activation strategies for all paid media channels in support of overall strategy • Stay on top of market trends, competition, and landscape, providing thought leadership and guidance for best practices. • Use customer insights and seasonal patterns from internal data sources and external tools. • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders; Coordinate projects with cross-functional teams in HQ to deliver qualified deliverables on time.▼Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field a plus • Minimum of 3 years in Marketing or related marketing assistant experience including both content and performance marketing in digital media. • Fluent in written and spoken Korean and English (working language). • Have a knowledge of Korea market landscape and consumer behaviors. • Digital savvy, good analytical and administrative skills • A quick and curious learner and a team player • A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude that’s not afraid to work independently when required • Work experience in OTA is a plus. • Know how to use Photoshop, Canva, Figma is also a plus.
