WHO IS THE L&D MANAGERThe L&D Manager is responsible for designing and implementing learning strategies, managing training programs, and developing employees' skills and knowledge within an organization.WHAT L&D MANAGER DOESThe L&D Manager develops and executes learning strategies, designs and delivers training programmes, assesses development needs and monitors learning effectiveness. Work with employees and managers to support career development and manage training budgets.RESPONSIBILITIES• Create and implement learning strategies and programs• Assess individual and organizational development needs• Implement various learning methods at company level (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)• Follow and organise the training via the TIPSY online platform• Conduct effective introduction and orientation sessions• Design and implement e-learning courses, workshops and other types of training• Evaluate the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities• Help managers develop their team members through the career• Manage the training budget• Follow the guidelines of CorporateSKILLS REQUIRED• Proven experience as L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar• Experience in designing and executing successful training programs• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)• Good communication and leadership skills• Ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively• Good computer and database skills• English language skills• From the hospitality sector• LQA Standard KnowledgeHIERARCHICAL REPORTINGDirector P&C / GM and dotted line Corporate L&D Manager
