Laboratory Assistant

About the Role: We are hiring for a variety of laboratory positions in our Utrecht facility, with openings across day, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts. Whether you’re an experienced lab professional or just starting your career, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative lab environment.These are 6-month contract roles, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.Key Responsibilities:Support daily lab operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspaceLabel, sort, and store samples and supplies accuratelyPrepare materials, solutions, or reagents as directedManage inventory of consumables and assist with waste disposalAssist lab technicians and analysts with testing and sample preparationPerform other routine lab duties to ensure smooth and efficient operationsQualifications:Must be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma required; relevant coursework or lab training preferredReliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow precise instructionsComfortable performing repetitive or routine tasksPrevious lab experience is an asset but not required – training will be providedAvailable for any shift (days, afternoons, nights, or weekends)What We Offer:Lab Assistants: €16–18 per hour ; Monthly range: €2,771 – €3,118Lab Techs: €18-20 per hour ; Monthly range: €3,118 – €3,464Lab Analysts: €20-23 ; Monthly range: €3,464 – €3,982Shift Differential for Afternoons/Nights: 10%Shift Differential for Weekends: 15% Hands-on experience in a professional laboratory environmentOpportunity to work with a supportive and dedicated team6-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance*This is a nicotine and cannabis testing laboratory so those who are not comfortable working within this environment should be aware before applying*
