Job DescriptionAs a member of the Site Technical Team, the Quality Assurance Coordinator role is a technical position, reporting directly to the Quality Manager. The role has responsibility for all aspects of Quality at this Greenfield site which will produce recycled resin that meet FSSC 22000 Quality system requirements, raw materials compliance to EFSA & FDA, plus specific customers (including Coca Cola) expectations and specification, at the lowest overall costSalary: $92,250 + super per annumYour Key Responsibilities Will Be ToRoutine Testing, record and monitoring of test samples.Training & mentoring of shop floor personnel on testing requirementsUnrelenting focus on quality output that meets customer expectations and agreed standards and specificationsHave in-depth knowledge of FSSC 22000 V 5.1 and ongoing 3rd party system certification requirements.Understanding of EFSA, FDA & Customer specific requirements that relate to the site, and ensuring identified PRP’s are managed in line with requirementsAppreciation for accurate QA testing and timely feedbackStaying up to date with changes, or best practices across the industryWork with the Site Leadership team, and JV partners to set up the quality systems and processes.Identify improvement opportunities.Promote a culture of zero harm including an unrelenting focus on continually improving our safety culture Your Skills And ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:2-3years+ in a similar roleExperience in a technical role, relating to plastics and/or recyclingProfessional communication skills. A personable demeanor, with the ability to communicate and connect across all levels (from shop floor to Senior leadership teams)Experienced in driving cost improvement strategyDemonstrated ability in influencing without direct accountability
