You will also be recognised and rewarded through competitive remuneration packages and scholarship opportunities.Laboratory ScientistIn This Role, You Will Design and develop diagnostic research projects in DSO Design, develop, validate and implement laboratory testing or methodologies for research projects in the field of infectious diseases Provide expert input on scientific developments, including assessment of new diagnostics and devices Serve as management and technical liaison between diagnostic laboratories in Singapore Validate results and designs, establish IQC and EQA programs for tests developedJob Requirements PhD in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Virology with experience in relevant disciplines such as microbiology At least 3 years’ experience working in a research /clinical /public health laboratory with at least 1 year of lab management experience Familiarity with various bench work skills e.g. real-time PCR and experience in development of molecular assays Molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases Next generation sequencing for infectious diseases Microbiology for bacteria agents Virology for virus agents
