Laboratory Technician

Work for an Organization that brings innovative therapies to patients worldwide.Our client combines the potential of antibodies and gene therapy to develop long-lasting therapeutic solutions for disease areas of high unmet medical need.The Assay Development Department is responsible for the development and execution of assays for Baculovirus and AAV characterization. The group utilizes molecular and cell biology toolboxes to analyze AAV and Baculoviral vectors and develops and optimizes assays for virus characterization and release of virus seeds. The AD department supports other departments by executing assays on samples generated by other teams. These assays are often intrinsically complex including molecular, analytical and cell-based assays, each having their focus and technical specialty. The Assay Development department is also responsible for Assay Qualification and Validation as well as Assay Transfer to QC teams or external partners, as well as for outsourcing samples testing at CROs. As Technician, you:Execute practical lab work, data analysis and reportingSet up viral vector production platforms and accompanying cell linesRecognise day to day problems and accepts solutions based on standard (and novel) proceduresCommunicate the daily work and results obtained to your peers and supervisor. RequirementsBSc or MSc degree in Life Sciences with a preference for Molecular Virology and Biology4 years of experience as a TechnicianPreferably experience in preGMP/industry settingGood command of the English language, both verbally as in writingPro-active, flexible, organizedAble to work independently as well as in a team.OfferBase yearly salary €50.000- €60.000 Gross a year
