RKLA Studio is a New York City-based Landscape Architecture firm focusing on institutional, multifamily, and high-end residential landscapes. We are looking for a Landscape Designer to work on multiple projects. Candidates should be passionate about landscape architecture, dedicated, personable, and confident. Our Hudson Square-based studio has a tight-knit team of designers, a casual but focused work environment, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.Responsibilities will include:Participation in design charrettesCreation of renderings and presentation drawingsPreparation of design and construction documentsPreparation of technical specifications and cost estimatesAttend client/site meetings and preparation of meeting minutesRequired Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:Entry Level to 2 years of experience working for a landscape architecture firm.Superior design abilities including detailed design developmentExcellent organizational and time management skills including proven ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.Desire to be involved and participate in all aspects of a project, from concept through construction, as well as the day-to-day operations of a small design firm.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Adobe CS (InDesign and Photoshop), Sketch-Up and Enscape.Excellent time management and organizational skills.BLA or MLA degree in Landscape Architecture.Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Proven experience preparing client presentations.Desirable experience in construction in New York City and State.If you meet these qualifications, please email your resumé, cover letter, and portfolio with the subject “Landscape Designer” to resumes@rklastudio.com.
