ROLE SUMMARY:The Lead Analyst, Business Planning plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s future by developing long-range market forecasts, performing scenario planning, and providing strategic insights that inform corporate decision-making and investments. This role is integral to the 10-year corporate planning process, ensuring that business strategies align with long-term objectives and market dynamics. The Lead Analyst will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure that the company remains agile and well-positioned for future growth.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Lead the preparation and continuous refinement of the 10-Year Strategic and Business Plan.• Analyze macroeconomic, geopolitical, and market trends within MENA and GCC to assess business risks and opportunities.• Prepare and deliver strategic presentations to executive leadership, articulating assumptions, scenarios, and impact.• Build a strategic planning database by integrating external data, internal insights, and client demand signals.• Collaborate with senior leadership and external consultants to ensure strategic alignment.• Monitor geopolitical and market changes and evaluate their strategic implications.• Lead scenario planning and development of strategic response options.• Facilitate executive discussions to address feedback and update planning assumptions.• Integrate long-term planning outputs with financial, operational, and investment strategies.QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.EXPERIENCE :• Minimum of 4 years in market research, pricing, or business/market intelligence.• Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex data.• Expertise in long-term forecasting methodologies and financial modelling.• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
