Our team of BPO experts draw on over 20 years of experience to create value and deliver better business outcomes to help our clients.Role Descriptionwork as Head of ICT Network and Communication team and responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of enterprise network and communication infrastructure, with a strong focus on firewall and security devices to ensure a secure, reliable, and high-performing ICT environment.This role is based in Malaysia and relocation is mandatory.1. Network & Communication Infrastructure·        Lead the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide network and communication systems (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VoIP).·        Oversee performance monitoring, optimization, and scalability of network infrastructure.·        Manage connectivity between on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.2. Firewall & Security Device Management·        Design, configure, and implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and related security devices.·        Define and enforce network security architecture, standards, and best practices.·        Oversee rule base design, change management, and policy reviews for firewalls and security appliances.3. Security & Compliance·        Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001 and PCI DSS, etc.) and internal policies.·        Implement controls for secure remote access, data protection, and threat prevention.·        Collaborate with Cybersecurity, SOC, and IT governance teams to address security incidents.4. Leadership & Strategy·        Manage a team of network engineers and security specialists.·        Develop ICT network strategies aligned with business objectives.·        Provide technical leadership in evaluating and adopting new network/security technologies.·        Liaise with vendors, service providers, and auditors for network and security-related matters.Qualifications·        Bachelor’s/ Post graduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.·        10+ years in ICT networking, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.·        Strong background in firewall/security device architecture and implementation.·        Proven experience managing enterprise networks and hybrid environments.·        Excellent leadership, project management, and vendor management skills.·        Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools.·        Understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance, and risk management.·        Certifications (preferred): CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, CISSP, CISM etc.If you have all the above attributes send your CV to careers.srilanka@scicom.com.my
