We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Key Responsibilities Construction Planning & ExecutionLead and coordinate all construction engineering activities during project planning and execution phases.Review and approve contractors’ construction execution plans, method statements, lifting plans, and work procedures.Ensure constructability input is incorporated into design and execution planning.Oversee site readiness and mobilization plans for multiple projects within the portfolio. Supervision & Site ManagementSupervise and monitor construction progress at various project sites, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and HSE standards.Coordinate daily construction activities between contractors, subcontractors, and the client’s PMC team.Support field engineering teams in resolving technical and construction-related issues.Ensure construction sequencing aligns with project schedules and milestones. Interface ManagementManage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.Ensure smooth coordination between contractors and client stakeholders across different projects.Participate in project coordination meetings and ensure prompt communication of critical construction issues. Quality, Safety, and CompliancePromote and enforce strict compliance with HSE standards and construction safety regulations.Participate in HSE audits, site inspections, and risk assessments.Ensure that construction work meets the project’s quality control requirements and applicable codes and standards.Verify that corrective and preventive actions from NCRs or site observations are effectively implemented. Progress Monitoring & ReportingTrack and report construction progress against approved schedules and KPIs.Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.Support the preparation of weekly and monthly construction progress reports for management and the client.Contribute to lessons learned and project close-out documentation. Technical LeadershipProvide technical guidance and mentoring to site engineers and junior staff.Review engineering deliverables for constructability and practical implementation.Support change management by assessing the impact of design changes on construction scope, schedule, and cost.EducationQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.Professional Engineering certification or chartership preferred.ExperienceExperience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy projects.Experienced in a PMC or EPC environment with significant construction site experience.Proven track record in managing multi-discipline construction teams across multiple projects.Strong knowledge of international construction codes, standards, and best practices (API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, etc.).Moving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
