About the Company: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of data across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and processes.About the Role: The ideal candidate is an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Snowflake, SQL, and cloud-based data solutions. Collaboration, performance optimization, and a commitment to designing and maintaining the data platform, data security and compliance are critical for success in this role.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage Snowflake E2E Data Warehouse solutions.Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, Data models, transformations and ETL processes according to business needs and aligned with standards and best practices.Create and maintain data pipelines, data storage solutions, and data processing systems on the Azure platform.Work with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and other storage solutions to design scalable and efficient data storage systems.Utilise big data technologies like Azure Databricks and Apache Spark to handle and analyze large volumes of data.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, Suppliers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Develop Dashboard, reports, and other visual representationsOptimize and improve existing data systems for performance optimization and scalability.Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.Implement tools for monitoring and documenting pipelines.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure timely resolution.Be proficient in creating and optimizing Snowflake schema design for performance and scalability.Utilize Snowflake features such as data sharing, cloning and time travel.Analyze and optimize Snowflake compute resources (e.g. virtual warehouses).Optimize queries, indexes and storage for improved performance.Implement and Maintain data security, data privacy best practices and ensure compliance with regulations. Knowledge with SOC compliance standards is nice to have.Integrate Snowflake with MS Azure servicesMonitor MS Azure cloud to drive good performanceEffectively manage delivery and suppliersEffectively document and communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences.Demonstrate a strong ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.Qualifications:Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Big Data, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of Demonstrated experience in data analysis , Data Engineering and successful project management .Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills (with stakeholders at all levels, both locally and globally)Experience with Agile methodologies and modern software development lifecycle.A solid understanding of data science concepts is requiredSolid understanding of relational databases and database conceptsSnowflake certification (preferred).MS Azure certification (preferred).Expertise with Python, R, SQL and/or Java for Snowflake-related automation (preferred).Advanced skills in MS Azure Cloud engineeringData analysis expertiseExperience with ETL tools and building data ingestion pipelines.Knowledge of BI tools; MS Power BI, Embedded (preferred)Experience with Big Data technologiesExtensive experience with ML frameworks and librariesExperience designing and implementing a full-scale data warehouse solution based on Snowflake.Experience in developing production-ready data ingestion and processing pipelines using Java, Spark, Scala, or Python.Expertise and excellent proficiency with Snowflake internals and integration of Snowflake with other technologies for data processing and reporting.Experience architecting large-scale data solutions, performing architectural assessments, examining architectural alternatives, and choosing the best solution in collaboration with both IT and business stakeholders.At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.We welcome applications from people of all gender identities, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation and disability.
