We're always on the lookout for amazing talent to join our team.As a Lead Producer at Certain Affinity, you will run one of our game teams under the supervision of the Production Director. The Lead Producer will be responsible for guiding this team to deliver a high-quality product on time and budget while helping to promote a collaborative, results-oriented environment.If you have project management and scheduling experience, are eager to make an impact, are motivated to support the needs of both development teams and external partners, and are open to new challenges, we’d like to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesOverall ownership of key components of a AAA projectResponsible for delivering a high-quality game on time and within budgetCollaborate with department leads to build a high-functioning teamCultivate and manage the relationship with external partners to help ensure a good cross-studio environmentMotivate and maintain creativity and cohesion within that teamWork with department leads to maintain a long-term project planCreate and foster daily team practices and processes to make sure the long-term plan is on trackFacilitate team communication, ensure timely dissemination of information to the team and company overallCommunicate project development status to senior management and business teamCoordinate with Quality Assurance department for product testing cycles, including usability testingRequirementsAt least eight years of project management experience in game developmentShipped two to three AAA titles in a Senior Producer or Lead Producer role (preferably on Unreal Engine projects)Experience building high functioning, quality-driven teamsExcellent verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, and scheduling skillsStrong time management skills with the ability to multitask across disciplines, assess risk, define priorities, and resolve problems while meeting deadlinesDeep knowledge of game development – team dynamics, common development hurdles, game engines, development milestones, etc.Strong working knowledge of JIRA, MS OfficeMotivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitudeWorks well within an open, highly collaborative environmentA desire to work in a diverse and inclusive environment Must be able to coordinate remote team members across both North American and Asian time zonesExtra CreditExperience with online multiplayer games and/or FPS titles Experience with establishing and managing an Art Outsourcing pipelineFamiliarity with Agile and other traditional project management methodologiesHands-on development experience in any development area – art, design, programming, QA, etc. Fluency in either Mandarin or Korean would be an assetCertain Affinity or its partners or affiliates run background checks on candidates or employees with written authorization from the candidates or employees.
