Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a Lead Supply Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will manage supply and demand planning, ensure material availability, and coordinate scheduling to keep operations running smoothly. You will play a key part in planning activities, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining clear communication across teams.Your responsibilities will include overseeing material management, site operations, and logistics, including warehouse and shipping processes. You will also handle transactions and ensure accurate process execution. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy ensuring operational excellence, this is the opportunity for you.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Responsible for managing the supply/ demand planning of sourced parts for the Global Parts Fulfilment team.Own the quarterly stocking policy calculation, define the inventory planning methodologies for 15 000 Non-capital part numbers.Drive the planning activities like SKU classification, Forecast and Minmax calculation based on statistical models in terms of requirements for procurement.Monitor and maintain the request dates on the vendor POs to secure high material availability.Achieve inventory levels aligned with the operating plan and consume existing inventory first and reduce slow moving inventory (SMI). Reduce existing obsolescence and prevent obsolescence roll-in. Work to increase inventory turns.Navigate through a hybrid planning approach: Work on expanding pull-based planning to Non-Capital items.Own performance KPIs like Inventory Turn, On Time Delivery and Stock availability in order to improve the inventory planning performance.Own maintaining the ERP with the updated and correct inputs to ensure the correct planning and procurement activities.Provide inputs on material availability to the sales, commercial teams to support deal executions.Partner with external vendors, global supply chain and others to ensure that existing and forecasted demand and any stock requirements are covered with adequate supply and availability is optimized for delivery to customers.Support Lean initiatives. Drive continuous improvement to simplify processes and reduce waste.Create a robust planning function to support continuous improvement of the Business.Follow environment, health and safety (EHS) requirements. Maintain the highest level of integrity.Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university - in supply chain management, logistics, business, engineering or similar.Ideally relevant experience within the Gas Power industry, gas turbine operations, capital parts and Services environment.Proven analytical skills and Microsoft Excel experience and strong problem-solving skills with attention to details.Experience in supply chain management or operations ideally experience in global vendor or customer management.Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience.Strong communication and conflict management skills as well as excellent level of spoken and written English language.Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time, make effective decisions under pressure and keep deadlines.High level of motivation with the ability to achieve results with minimal supervision and to effectively operate in any organizational structure.Demonstrate the GE Leadership Behaviours - Act with Humility, Lead with Transparency, Deliver with focus.Follow the GE Code of Conduct - The Spirit & The Letter - and act with unyielding integrity.Lean mindset through standard work, problem solving, simplification and eliminating waste.Desired CharacteristicsSix-Sigma Green Belt certification.APICS Certified In Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) Part 1 training and certification.Previous experience in materials management is a plus.Strong PLM Enovia experience. Understanding of Bill of Materials.Strong product configuration knowledge with sound technical judgment.Proven Parts Alpha ERP experience.Business and financial acumen.
