We are looking for an experienced Blockchain Security Leader to drive our company’s overall security strategy, safeguard digital assets, and build a world-class security team. This role will focus on securing our blockchain infrastructure, wallets, smart contracts, and ecosystem integrations against advanced cyber threats. The candidate will be responsible for designing technical security architectures, leading compliance initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the resilience and trustworthiness of our platform.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Strategy & LeadershipDefine and lead the overall blockchain and Web3 security strategy.Build and manage a high-performing blockchain security team (offensive, defensive, compliance).Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders on security-related matters.Blockchain & Wallet SecurityOversee the design and implementation of wallet security, key management (HSM, MPC, TEE), and transaction signing solutions.Conduct threat modeling and implement monitoring/detection systems for blockchain-specific attack vectors (private key theft, supply chain attacks, cross-chain bridge exploits).Smart Contract & DApp SecurityEstablish secure development lifecycle (SDLC) for smart contracts.Lead or review internal/external smart contract audits (CodeQL, fuzzing, formal verification).Stay up-to-date on DeFi/Web3 exploits and ensure proactive defense.Infrastructure & ComplianceStrengthen cloud and enclave-based signing infrastructure (AWS Nitro Enclaves, GCP Confidential VMs, etc.).Drive compliance with global regulatory and security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR).Collaborate with legal/compliance teams to ensure alignment with local and international regulations.Incident Response & Risk ManagementBuild and maintain an incident response playbook for blockchain security incidents.Lead post-mortem analysis of security breaches and implement preventive measures.Develop a continuous risk assessment and penetration testing program.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cryptography, or related fields.8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3+ years in blockchain/Web3 security leadership roles.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of blockchain protocols (BTC, ETH, SOL, Layer 2s, Cross-chain bridges).Expertise in cryptography (MPC/TSS, ZKP, threshold signatures, secure enclaves).Hands-on experience with smart contract auditing, penetration testing, and exploit research.Proficiency with security tools (BurpSuite, CodeQL, Slither, MythX, Foundry, Hardhat).Leadership & Soft SkillsProven experience in building and leading security teams.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers, executives, and regulators.Ability to balance business objectives with strong security practices.
