The role is full-time and supports personal injury, employment and criminal lawyers.Duties - Opening new leads and entering data to open new files- Drafting costs agreements and ensuring the agreements are signed and returned by clients- Diary management in relation to the files and lawyers, scheduling appointments as required and ensuring that relevant parties are notified and conference rooms booked- Liaising with clients, barristers, doctors, solicitors and other third parties- Drafting correspondence, court documents and other documents as required- Preparation of briefs to barristers and ensuring briefs are kept up to date- Resolve client queries and transactional communications efficiently and effectively to maintain high customer service standards and to assist professional staff focus on more technical aspects- Maintaining detailed file notes on matters as appropriate- Preparation of settlement documents and ensuring all costs recorded on matters- Closing and archiving files- Assistance in drafting, formatting and amending documents and correspondence- Matter invoicing, receipting and accounting responsibilities including accurate time recording on matters- Identify potential opportunities to improve operational workflow processes and firms policies and procedures- Contributions to team meetings and business development Skills & Experience·        Proven experience as a personal injury law legal secretary·        Excellent customer service·        Excellent written and oral communication skills·        Ability to work autonomously and show initiative·        Great organisational and prioritisation abilities·        IT savvy with good technical skillsTo apply for this role, please send your resume to Lauren McDonald-Pappot at lauren@foyelegal.com or for a confidential discussion regarding this role please call 02 4228 0200.
