At Radiant Law, winner of multiple awards as a legal pioneer, we are continuing to see exciting new client work coming through from a rapidly expanding international client base. We are currently looking to recruit on a very quick turnaround for a role starting in January, and are looking for attorneys who are newly admitted or soon to complete articles, up to those with one year of post-admission experience, to join our commercial contracts team. [Please note that we are only considering applications within this experience range and who would be available for a January start.]You don't need to have deep experience in contracting - but if you do, especially from time spent in-house, we’d love to hear about it. We're looking for doers: people who enjoy getting stuck in, consistently moving the work forward with both speed and high quality, and then figuring out how to do it even better next time.What you’ll get to doYou'll work closely with global clients to:Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, often under tight deadlines. This includes NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, supply of goods and services, and licensing agreements.Draft bespoke provisions to meet specific client needs.Use data to understand and improve how we’re delivering for clients.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, often collaborating with our software developers, legal engineers and document automation specialists.Deliver process improvement projects and help us show clients how we keep getting better.Share your knowledge by documenting learnings and leading internal training.Over time, take on responsibility for managing client accounts and owning the success of our service delivery.What we’re looking forYou should:Be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg.Be an admitted (or soon-to-be admitted) attorney, with 0–1 years of post-admission experience. More experience will not be considered for this role.Have worked with, or have a strong interest in, commercial contracts.
