Legal Claims Specialist

Pay Rate: $35-50/hr on w2The Legal Claims Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and managing sensitive workplace claims while ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies. This role requires strong legal understanding, sound judgment, and the ability to handle complex employee-related issues with professionalism and confidentiality.Key Responsibilities:Review and assess claims involving employee-to-employee disputes, employee complaints against managers, and allegations related to workplace misconductEvaluate cases involving racial discrimination, gender discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) mattersDetermine claim validity by gathering facts, interviewing relevant parties, and analyzing documentation to build a clear understanding of each caseTrack claim status, ensuring accurate classification of cases as open, active, pending resolution, or closedDocument findings, outcomes, and recommended actions, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and legal standardsCollaborate with HR, legal counsel, and management teams to support fair and timely case resolutionMaintain strict confidentiality and handle all claim information with discretionPrepare reports summarizing trends, case outcomes, and risk areas to support broader compliance initiativesQualifications:Strong understanding of employment law, EEO regulations, and workplace investigation proceduresExperience handling internal employee claims, workplace disputes, or HR legal mattersExcellent analytical, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
