Location: Burbank, CAEmployment Type: Part-TimeSalary: CompetitiveJob DescriptionA server is responsible for the following duties and tasks:Engage with guests, team members and managers to make a positive lasting impressionEnsure and promote safety and cleanlinessServe alcohol to guests following safe alcohol service guidelines and local, state and federal laws Take guests' orders and accurately enter them in our POS systemPrepare beverages, desserts & soupsAnticipate and fulfill guest requestsDeliver food and beverages to guestsParticiate in team pre-bussing and running of food, offer to help fellow team members Help to ensure the restaurant is set up for success by stocking side stations & completing sidework Process payments, including making change for cash paymentsLight cleaningCommunicate openly with management regarding any work-related concernsRequirementsRequirements:Must be 18 years of age or olderA minimum of one year of serving experience in a full service restaurant with a barMust be guest focused, proactive, charismatic, outgoing and approachableMust have a valid Food Handler Card Able to speak, read and understand English Has excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skillsCan perform basic mathmatic calculationsAble to solve problems, adapt to change easily and multi-taskAble to work positively in a fast-paced environment Able to work effectively within a teamAble to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency and able to meet deadlinesAble to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of timeAble to lift up to 20 lbs. as neededHave continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twisting
