Job Description

CYE is looking for highly skilled and business-oriented Legal Counsel to lead our legal operations, guide strategic decision-making, and ensure the company’s compliance across global markets.In this role, you will oversee all legal matters, support key business initiatives, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.ResponsibilitiesOwn the company’s entire legal function, serving as its lead legal authorityDraft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with global clients, vendors and partnersAct as the primary legal advisor for internal teams including Finance, HR, Product, Sales, R&DManaging the company’s option pool and related agreements, as well as cap table and share register. Manage and coordinate external counsel to ensure effective, cost-efficient supportManage disputes, claims, and litigation, coordinating with external counsel when neededManaging the company’s insurance aspectsDevelop and implement efficient legal operations strategies, including process improvements, technology solutions, and vendor management, to ensure efficient and scalable legal support for the businessDevelop company policies, compliance frameworks, and best practices across all jurisdictionsQualificationsAt least 3 years of commercial law experience, including working at a large/medium size law firm or in-houseAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and partner effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsAbout UsCYE’s exposure management platform, Hyver, transforms the way security teams protect their organizations.
