Job Description

Job DescriptionOverall Responsibilities: Participate and support Ford’s transactions, deals, cooperation projects and other growth plan; Provide legal support to the business operations of Ford China and its affiliates; Work closely with various business functions, including Marketing, Sales & Services, Purchasing, Digital, etc.; Provide legal advice and analysis on product and digital marketing, marketing compliance review, purchasing procedures, agreements and disputes including template, deviation review, disputes with suppliers, etc.; Draft, interpret and assist to enforce corporate procedures and policies; Draft, review, and translate legal documents in both Chinese and English; Conduct legal research and analysis in connection with the assigned working responsibility; Other duties assigned by the supervisor. QualificationsQualification Requirements: Undergraduate from a reputable PRC law school is a must, Master of Law preferred; A law degree from an Anglo-American jurisdiction strongly preferred; Minimum 4 years’ legal professional experience in multinational corporations or reputable law firms; experiences in both preferred; Experience with automotive industry and joint ventures preferred; Marketing, purchasing and litigation related experience preferred; Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese; capable of drafting legal documents in both languages; Well-organized and be able to work on his/her own under pressure and within tight deadlines; Passage of the Judicial Exam in the PRC; Quick learner having good analytical skills; Good problem-solving skills in helping clients in achieving their business objectives within applicable constraints; Demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level.
