Mapped Recruitment is partnering with a global advertising business on their search for an in-house legal counsel in a newly created position due to business growth.As Legal Counsel at, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding the business and enabling commercial teams to move quickly but smartly. You will act both as a business partner and a trusted legal advisor to leadership across global operations (Europe, USA, Middle East and APAC).Reporting to the Worldwide Manager and working closely with the external Legal Consultant and the Managing Directors of each country.Key Responsibilities:Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of contracts (supplier agreements, client contracts, service-level agreements, NDAs, etc.).Commercial Advice: Provide legal guidance to account managers, project leads, and senior management on business deals, creative activations, and strategic initiatives.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across business lines — design, production, field marketing, and training.Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance activities such as board matters, group restructuring, and maintenance of corporate records.Dispute Resolution: Handle or coordinate dispute resolution, including negotiations with third parties and instructing external law firms when needed.Policy Development: Draft and maintain internal policies (e.g., code of conduct, contracts policy, compliance guidelines), run training for employees on legal risks.Sustainability and Ethics: Advise on legal aspects of our sustainability and social responsibility initiatives to ensure alignment with best practice and regulation.Key Requirements:Qualified solicitor or lawyer, or equivalent/studying towards (in-house experience preferred).Strong commercial legal experience — ideally in a service-oriented, international business.Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.Ability to simplify complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Experience in compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian or other languages is a plus.High adaptability — comfortable working across different jurisdictions and with multi-disciplinary teams.This role is based in Dublin City Centre (Hybrid working)
