Outside China and IndiaLearn More: powerfactors.com.About The RoleWe're seeking a legal counsel to join our dynamic team with global accountability.Provide general legal advice across a wide range of areas including SaaS and commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolutionDraft, review, analyze and negotiate contracts for customers/sales, partnerships, NDAs, vendors, and other third-party engagementsPartner with Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership teams to close revenue-generating deals while balancing legal risk, privacy, and complianceSupport legal operations initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and cohesion across teams, including contract lifecycle management and AI-enhanced workflowsMonitor and interpret new legislation and regulatory changes, communicating potential impacts to the businessDraft and maintain internal policies and guidelines on topics such as antitrust, data privacy, and IPAct as a visible and collaborative ambassador for the legal team across the organizationTake on additional legal tasks and special projects as may be assigned by the General CounselQualifications:JD or LLB from an accredited institution; licensed to practice in Canada or the US2 - 5 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house, ideally with technology or SaaS companiesStrong contract negotiation and management skills, with a practical and commercial approach to problem-solvingSolid understanding of privacy laws (US and EU) and information securityExcellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detailComfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environmentLIFE @ POWER FACTORSWe are an agile software development company - big enough to make an impact, but small enough to move quickly and execute in a growing industry.
