Join Pointsville and be part of shaping the future of digital finance!OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Legal Director to establish and lead Pointsville’s legal function. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board of directors, overseeing all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with deep legal expertise, ensuring compliance while enabling innovation in rapidly evolving digital assets.What You’ll DoCommercial ContractsDraft, review, and negotiate enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, data-sharing and tokenization agreements.Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks to support scalable business operations.Execute contract signatures with multiple stakeholders.Compliance, Regulatory & Commercial OversightLead Pointsville’s compliance function, covering financial services, tokenization, payments, data privacy, and cybersecurity.Monitor and interpret evolving U.S. and international regulations impacting fintech and blockchain operations.Engage with regulators, auditors, and external counsel to manage filings, audits, or inquiries.Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise and institutional contracts, including SaaS, licensing, tokenization, and data-sharing agreements.Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and scalable processes to support business operations.Qualifications & ExperienceJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.3 years of progressive legal experience, including substantial in-house experience in technology or fintech sectors.Proven expertise in corporate law and commercial contracts.Strong working knowledge of fintech, blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset regulations.Demonstrated success in building or scaling a legal function within a high-growth or startup environment.Exceptional judgment, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.We are committed to providing equal opportunity for qualified applicants to contract positions, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
