You’ll gain exposure to cutting-edge legal tech, global projects, and the strategic side of in-house legal work, building a strong foundation for future growth in legal operations or project management.You will be part of the global legal team based in Chippenham, Wiltshire 2 days a week on a permanent hybrid contract.As our Legal Operations Assistant you willPlay a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of legal services across the business. Provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to gain hands-on experience in legal operations, supporting technology implementation, and project management within a dynamic global environment.Work closely with members of the legal team to support with legal technology projects, manage process improvements, and support the integration of digital tools that enhance the department’s efficiency and impact.What you’ll be doingProject & Operations ManagementOversee and project manage legal technology projects and strategic initiatives.Manage and support a full range of projects within the legal team, including supporting with the rollout and optimisation of technology solutions.Prepare and deliver ad-hoc reports and project updates.Support the implementation of best practices in legal operations, including process mapping, automation, and performance tracking.Technology & SystemsManage contract execution workflows within the business, ensuring timely completion and proper upload of signed contracts into the contract lifecycle management system (HighQ).Maintain and update the Legal SharePoint site to ensure information is current, accessible, and well-organised.Research, assess, and advise on available legal technology solutions and service providers, assisting in procurement and implementation decisions.Team Support & CollaborationWork collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of legal tools and processes.Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational efficiency within the legal department.What we are looking forBachelor’s degree (any discipline).Strong IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint.Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver to deadlines.
