Company DescriptionBecky's Notes Ltd is a successful FE1 digital education platform which provides exam focused notes to students. The business started in 2022 by Becky Anderson as a sole-trader, and has now become one of the key players in the FE1 Market by 2025.To continue this growth, we are looking for assistance in updating and proof-reading the materials. We are looking to level up our business by creating an all-in-one interactive website, but this takes a lot of time. Therefore, we are looking for help in updating the notes and proof-reading same to ensure our materials remain top class study notes!The business comprises of Becky and Karyn, who get on super well! We are a very fun and understanding place to work from. You will have the ability to work from anywhere, and at your own time. Of course we will set dates for updates etc., It is a lovely job for anyone looking to make some extra side money, whilst getting involved in something new and exciting! If all goes well, there is opportunity for this relationship to continue. Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Legal Research Assistant/Proof-reader for a temporary, part-time position. I.e., the exams take place twice a year so a few months before the 'study period' we need to update the notes. This would be an ideal part time job for a junior barrister, for example, who may not have a full time position, or a tutor in University. We are seeking high achievers, those who have completed their FE1s OR Kings Inn Entrance exams You will need to have gained a high undergraduate degree grade. This is because we are determined to maintain the highest intellectual standards for our students.Requirements and skills required:First class honours undergraduate degree or high 2.1. in law/ civil law/ business law or equivalent legal degree.Successfully passed all FE1 exams on their first sitting (or Kings Inns)Case summariesConcise note taking - ability to distill the key legal points from case law Strong Research and Analytical SkillsAttention to detail and ability to proofread and edit documents where necessaryInitiativeAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
