Their culture of caring relates to all they do, and it is reflected in the low staff turnover and many successful long-term clients.Your new role:An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary/Administrator to join Keystone’s award-winning team. Working in their Newcastle head office this role will provide secretarial and administrative support two busy teams of commercial and litigation lawyers.Specifically, you will be responsible for:Document preparation and file comparison, court filing, compiling and distributing documentation and scanning.Extensive diary management and follow up with various parties to ensure key deliverables are met.Assisting with lease matters – preparing information, following up with clients and tenants' provision of lease security and insurance certificates of currency.General reception and office duties - i.e. incoming calls, visitors, managing office supplies and stationery.Preparation of a range of forms – PEXA authorisation forms, declaration forms, trust account authorities.Lodging notices on NSW courts online registry websiteVarious other administrative duties to support the business.To Be Successful in This Role You Need:To be a team player – capacity to work closely with others, support each other and have fun.Strong organisation and prioritisation skills to effectively manage the numerous deadlines and to ensure things are actioned and closed off.High attention to detail to ensure drafted documents are correct and include all relevant information.Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and develop lasting relationships with a range of personalities.A strong work ethic and proactive thinking to seek out things to do once their tasks are complete.
