Explore our school website to learn more about us.SummaryHelp support teachers in developing and implementing interventions to enhance student learning and outcomes across all subjects.Location: Marymount Primary School, Burleigh WatersStart date: Commencing January, 2026Work hours: 30.00 hours per weekSalary: School Officer Level 2 - $32.50 + super (School Salary Scale)Status: Term Time, Permanent & Term Time, Fixed-termMultiple positions available (1x position within Prep, 1x position in Learning Support)Ad close date: 30 November 2025Contact: Brendan Creevey | pburleigh@bne.catholic.edu.au About The OpportunityIn this position you will be responsible for:Assisting with the delivery of learning and teaching programs including the use of technology and learning support activitiesPreparing learning support activities and organising the production of printed materials and resources for lesson activities or classroom displays ensuring items are returned to designated areas after the activitiesMonitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence based intevention strategiesEnsuring the condition of resources and materials are clean and safe to use and arrange the repair or replacement for any damaged itemsCollaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services.Supervising small groups and individual students, as requested, to assist with student learning outcomes and learning disabilitiesDocumenting observation notes, intervention programs and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.Provide secretarial support to the department including but not limited to the arrangement of Personalised Learning Plan meetings for Case ManagersAbout YouTo be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:Ability to assist in delivering teaching programs, including technology use and learning supportKnowledge of how to prepare learning activities and organise resources/materials for lessonsOrganisational skills to maintain the safety and cleanliness of resources and promptly arrange for repairs or replacements as neededExperience in supervising small groups or individual students to support learning and disabilities Strong admin skillsEnrolment in Certificate III in Education Support would be highly regardedFor this position you are not required to be Catholic.Eligibility And Safeguarding RequirementsEligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointmentHold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.Why choose BCEBenefitsJoin us and be part of the largest Catholic Diocese in Queensland, nurturing your personal and professional development goals.
